Meltaus river

We left for a couple of hours trip to Meltausjoki. Our purpose was mainly to go check the place out and at what height the water is. There was also a guy in the early stages of fly fishing with us. The weather was nice and the mosquitoes were not awakened yet. The water had already decreased a bit but the river was still flooding. The evening went mostly testing our new equipment and practicing to throw. It's always great to guide new enthusiasts. That makes me think of my own fly fishing starting moments, in -86 when we practiced with Tapiola's book series on the lawn. Oh those were the days, I wish someone would have been guiding me at that time.
